Southern Hancock Schools is proud to announce that both New Palestine High School (NPHS) and Doe Creek Middle School (DCMS) have again been named Indiana 4-Star Schools. This is the ninth year NPHS has earned the 4-Star recognition and the fifth year for DCMS.
To qualify for the 4-star recognition, schools must be in the top 25% for attendance, as well as achievement measured by the ISTEP+ Assessment.
In a recent message to staff, Superintendent Dr. Lisa Lantrip recognized the effort required for such an achievement, "Being named an Indiana 4-Star School is not only a reflection of the dedication of district staff to always pursue excellence, but also the commitment of our students and families to achieve their personal best."
Congratulations to all Southern Hancock schools, staff and students for another successful year!
