Sugar Creek Elementary’s art teacher Clark Fralick and his daughter have tended to the elementary school’s well-known garden outside. During COVID-19, the outdoor garden has been put to good use as an alternate learning environment for students..
Students are learning how our environment works in new and engaging ways. Students help the Fralicks grow organic produce to donate to local food banks. Organic bok choy, pearl radishes, white stemmed kale, heritage lettuce, and spinach are all grown in the garden. We appreciate the Fralick’s contribution to hands-on learning in a way that gives back to the community.
