News and Notes:

• We are now accepting Out-of-District Transfer Applications for the 2026-2027 School year! Click this link to enroll today! 
• We are presently only enrolling students for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. 
• Enrollment for our Little Dragons Pre-Kindergarten program begins on February 9th, 2026. (See 'Little Dragons Pre-Kindergarten' below for more information)
• Little Dragons Pre-Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for March 3rd, 2026 from 5:00-7:00pm at New Palestine Elementary. Students must be four (4) years of age on or before August 1, 2026 to attend Pre-Kindergarten during the 2026-2027 school year.
• Kindergarten Round-Up for the 2026-2027 school year will take place on Wednesday, April 8th from 4:30-6:30pm. Students must be five (5) years of age on or before August 1, 2026 to attend Kindergarten during the 2026-2027 school year.

Enrollment for new families in 25-26 school year:

Students must be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2025 to attend Kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year.

Please plan to bring the following items with you to enroll your student:

• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Driver's License or State Issued Photo ID Card with current address
• Lease/Rental Agreement, Mortgage Statement, Real Estate Deed, or Property Tax Statement with current address

• Please bring one of the following as a 3rd verifier of residency:  Paycheck/Paystub, Tax Return, Utility Bill, Insurance Statement/Bill, or Vehicle Title/Registration

Please DO NOT use the new student enrollment link above if your child is currently enrolled in our Little Dragons Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten Program. If your child is currently enrolled in the New Palestine Community Schools or previously enrolled in our school district, please contact arush@newpal.k12.in.us for enrollment instructions.

We are accepting Out-of-District applications for the 2026-2027 school year. The 2026-2027 Out-of-District Transfer Application is available now.  Please do not submit a 2025-2026 application for the 2026-2027 school year.

The preferred method of submission is online via our Google form. You'll need a Gmail account to upload required records.  To submit a completed application online the following records must be gathered:

• Birth Certificate (All students)
• Immunization Record (All students)
• Discipline Record or Letter from current school regarding discipline (Students entering grades 1-12)
• Attendance Report (Students entering grades 1-12)
• Most Recent Grades/Unofficial Transcript (Students entering grades 1-12)
• Home Language Survey (Students entering grades 1-12)
• IEP or 504 plan (if applicable)
• Two (2) Forms of Proof of Residence that verify you live in the State of Indiana (Lease/Rental Agreement, Mortgate Statement, Real Estate Deed, Property Tax Statement, Paycheck/Paystub, Tax Return, Utility Bill, Insurance Bill, Vehicle Title/Registration, Driver's License or State Issued Photo ID Card with current address)

Completed applications may take up to 30 days to process. All transfers will be considered on an individual basis on class size and building capacity. If you have questions about the enrollment process, please contact us at arush@newpal.k12.in.us.

We are not currently enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year.  Enrollment information will be posted here when available.  Children must be four(4) years of age on or before August 1st, 2026, to enroll for the upcoming school year.  

Little Dragons Pre-Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for March 3, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at New Palestine Elementary. Visit our Little Dragons page to learn about our early childhood program for 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds.

We are presently only enrolling students for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. We are not currently enrolling students for the 2026-2027 school year. Please contact the school directly for enrollment guidance for returning students.

PowerSchool is not open at this time for returning families to confirm their information for 2025-2026. Notification will be sent out to our current families once this process has begun. Schedules will then be available for students in grades 7-12. Students in grades K-6 will find out who their teacher is at our back to school events.

Parents must log in to their Powerschool Parent Portal account to complete all necessary forms related to their students. After logging in, click on Forms on the left side menu. Under forms, click on Enrollment. Forms C-F must be completed for every student. Form A contains all contact information for you and any other PowerSchool contacts. Please double-check this information for everyone listed as a contact for your student.
